Nov 11, 2015  The latest version (Windows 8) of the Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family driver does work on my Windows 10 install as long as I don't exceed 1280X1024 resolution. Otherwise, the Mail & Calendar and Store apps crash on start up, and, the MS Edge browser crashes when the Favorites Bar is activated. G751JY - Intel Chipset Drivers - Windows 10 Hello, I haven't been here for quite some time, and I've been playing around with making a recovery environment for my Sony Xperia Z5 Compact - and realised that Windows basically was the same - so I thought I'd come back and try to get the 'OEM Recovery' stuff working on the G751 that I wiped during.

and go to properties and let us know the status of the device.

Meanwhile I would suggest you to Run Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

1.Type 'Troubleshooting' in the Search box from the desktop and click 'Troubleshooting'.

2.Click on 'View all' from the left pane and select 'Hardware and Devices'.

3.Click on “Advanced” and then click on “Run as Administrator”.

4.Click “Next” and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process.

Hope it helps. Reply with the result and I'll be happy to help you further. Thank you.

If I were you, I would do 'clean install of latest public build' using ISO file & Rufus tool. Make sure you have this W10 version digital activated first. Then return to your pc device mgr. & check each driver under 'System devices' for latest update.

http://www.nextofwindows.com/how-to-make-uefi-bootable-usb-flash-drive-to-install-windows-8/

(works for W10 too)

I did clean install last week using 7/2015 public build, upgraded to 11/2015 build before joining W10 insiders again. I found that I had about 5-7 intel drivers that updated to 8/17/15 version.

Intel released version 10.1.17 of their Chipset Device Software on August 24, 2018.

This is the latest version of these drivers and should work with most newer Intel-based motherboards.

Intel's INF updates are not drivers in the most technical sense, but are instead updates to important files that tell Windows how to use Intel integrated hardware. However, we usually still refer to them as drivers.

See What Version of This Driver Do I Have Installed? if you're not sure which Intel Chipset driver version you have installed.

Changes in Intel Chipset Drivers v10.1.17

This update resolves an issue related to an incorrect version number, plus adds support for a few new devices.

If you're not experiencing any issues with your hardware then this update probably isn't necessary, though I've rarely seen Intel chipset driver updates cause any problems.

Intel Chipset Driver Download

The latest Intel chipset drivers can always be downloaded directly from Intel:

WindowsIntel Chipset Drivers Windows 10
Download Intel Chipset Device Software v10.1.17

This updated Intel chipset driver works for both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows 10, Windows 8 (including Windows 8.1), and Windows 7.

These drivers work only with the following Intel chipsets:

  • Intel Atom Chipsets
  • Intel Celeron Chipsets
  • Intel Pentium Chipsets
  • Intel 9 Series Chipsets
  • Intel Core M Chipsets
  • 6th Generation Intel Core Chipsets
  • 5th Generation Intel Core Chipsets
  • 4th Generation Intel Core Chipsets
  • 3rd Generation Intel Core Chipsets
  • 2nd Generation Intel Core Chipsets

Even if your Intel chipset isn't listed above, or you're not sure what motherboard you have (or if it's even an Intel motherboard or one with an Intel chipset), the software that we linked to above will help you determine what drivers you need.

Intel Chipset Drivers for Discontinued Motherboards

Intel keeps an older version of their chipset drivers available for a long list of discontinued motherboards:

Download Intel Chipset Software v9.1.2.1008 (2010-09-29)

Support is only available up to Windows 7 for these boards.

If you're looking for an up-to-date resource on newly released drivers, see our Windows 10 Drivers, Windows 8 Drivers, or Windows 7 Drivers pages. We keep those pages updated with information and links to new drivers available from Intel and other major hardware makers.

Having Trouble With These New Intel Chipset Drivers?

If something breaks after installing these chipset drivers, your best first step is to uninstall and then reinstall them. You can do this from the appropriate applet in Control Panel.

If reinstalling the Intel chipset driver package doesn't work, try rolling back the driver, also something you can do from Control Panel. See How to Roll Back a Driver for instructions in all versions of Windows.
