Did you see a red cross on the Internet connection near the Action center?
Is the WI FI symbol visible for you in action center or does the WIFI detects nearby connections?
Did you install any third party security application?
As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to try the methods given below and check if it helps.
“Internet Connections” and “Network adapter” troubleshooter.
1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
2. Select Troubleshooting.
3. Select View all on the top left corner.
4. Run the “internet connections” and the “Network adapter” troubleshooter, one at a time.

If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall network driver.
1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “DeviceManager”.
2. In the list of devices, you should see the Network adapter. (Expand if required).
3. Right click on the device and then select 'Uninstall'.
